My Jekyll Monica Pearson

“What I love about Jekyll Island is the peace. There’s a cap on development. It’s always going to be pristine beaches and not a lot of commercial business. I love that I can get on my bike and ride and maybe not run into anybody else . . . I have just a basic ten-speed, and on the island I can use all the speeds! I feel like a kid again. If I want to ride with my hands flailing in the air, I can do it. It’s a release. Even though I’m retired, everything around me still moves quickly. Jekyll provides an island oasis away from city living.”
