District After Dusk invites you to experience Pier Road in a whole new light! On the third Saturday of each month during the winter season, from 3-8 p.m., stroll the Historic District as the sun sets and The District Shops come alive with live music, food trucks, family-fun activities, and nightly shopping and dining specials.

 Enjoy performances from local bands, free carnival-style games and activities for kids, along with live demonstrations and tastings from several Georgia Grown vendors. Take advantage of evening tours of DuBignon Cottage and discover exclusive in-shop discounts throughout the District. And, exclusively during the January and February events, keep an eye out for two hidden Island Treasures tucked away within the District!

District After Dusk begins at 3:00 p.m. in the Historic District and live music begins at 5:00 p.m.

Golf carts must park in a valid, public parking lot or will be towed. Bicycles are permitted to park in any open bicycle rack located throughout the district. 
Yes! Many activities are free for families including live music, vendor demonstrations and sampling, face painting, and carnival-style games, and more. Some experiences, including purchasing food and beverages or visiting the retail shops have additional fees. Participants of all ages are welcome to attend.
The District Shops are home to Wake Up Coffee Company, Founder’s Social Restaurant & Beer Garden, and Jekyll Island Sweets, with The Wharf Restaurant also nearby, all of which carry a variety of dining offerings. During the event, visitors will also have access to rotating Food Trucks. However, you are also welcome to bring your own food and enjoy it at one of our many benches or picnic tables throughout the district.
While pets are allowed on Jekyll Island and in the National Landmark Historic District, owners must follow State Park ordinance and have pets always leashed and under control. Please be respectful of all visitors, for their safety and the safety of your pet. Only service dogs are allowed inside the shops and on trolley tours.
Public restrooms with The District Shops are available adjacent to Wake Up Coffee Company, Founder’s Social Restaurant & Beer Garden, and 31•81 Lifestyle Shop, all with ADA access.
