St. Andrews Beach Park

Jekyll Island’s beaches and beach restroom facilities will be closed to the public starting Saturday, March 21 at 6 a.m. until April 13, or until the Executive Order has been terminated or extended. Jekyll Island and its outdoor amenities remain open and accessible to the public. For more information, visit jekyllisland.com/covid-19.


This beach park is a short walk from Jekyll Point, the southern-most tip of the Island. It’s a popular spot for watching migratory birds as well as groups of dolphins. The beach park features a two-story wildlife viewing platform and the Wanderer Memory Trail.

This is a year-round pet-friendly beach, but we ask you please keep all pets under immediate control and on a leash no longer than 16′ at all times.
