The rides and attractions at Summer Waves are super cool! Plan your fun-filled day with relaxing laps around Turtle Creek Lazy River, riding the waves of the Frantic Atlantic, and taking in high-speed thrills down Pirate’s Passage. All of our attractions promise to be a splash-tacular good time!

Frantic Atlantic Wave Pool

Catch a ride on these waves! In the Frantic Atlantic pool, waves hit heights of more than 2 feet, and its’ more than 500,000 gallons of water make it the coolest pool around!

Pirate’s Passage

Take the plunge! Pirate’s Passage riders, hop on a double-seater inner tube, and slide down a five-story, enclosed tower. It’s fast. It’s furious. It’s fun!

(Riders must be 48″ tall.)

Nature’s Revenge

Nature’s Revenge stands 40 feet tall, boasting two fierce slides: the Hurricane and the Tornado. Each slide twists and turns, sending riders into a spiral, then drops them off with a splash in the catch pool.

(Riders must be 42″ tall.)

 

Force 3

The Force 3 gives you triple the slide action! This ride stands 32 feet tall and features three slides to keep the fun going all day long.

Flash Flood: This double inner tube slide spirals down 350 feet, and twists and curves to make it an exciting ride for the whole family.

Thunder and Lightning: These twin slides will send you spiraling down 150 feet in fully enclosed flumes.

Turtle Creek

Trade splashing for relaxing in our calm Turtle Creek. This lazy river is just that: a half-mile, slow-moving stream that lets you take a break from the action and enjoy a beautiful summer day.

Splash Zone

Cool off at our mega Splash Zone. Get dunked by the giant water bucket, get soaked by our spectacular downpour and get excited with our kid-friendly water guns.

Kiddie Pool

The Kiddie Pool area of Summer Waves is designed for children under 52” tall. This tiny tyke zone is equipped with two kiddie slides, waterfalls, water features and plenty of shade.

Season First Sea Turtle Nest Found on Wassaw Island

A nest has been found! Sea turtle nesting season officially began this month, but until earlier this week, no nests had been detected. All that changed Monday night when researchers and nest patrollers found their first sea turtle nest, on Wassaw Island.
