Among the celebrities, 10 played professionally with Hampton, Henderson, and Taylor, earning Super Bowl championships.
“We look forward to again welcoming our celebrities and big crowds to Jekyll Island for the Georgia-Florida Golf Classic,” said Jones Hooks, Executive Director of the Jekyll Island Authority and UGA alum. “The Classic has been an integral part of Jekyll for three and-a-half decades and is just as unique as the Georgia-Florida rivalry itself. It is a great time of fun, food and fellowship with those wearing Red and Black or Orange and Blue.”
