The first priority was to replace the crossovers in locations that originally had crossovers prior to the revetment reconstruction. Order within the phases listed in the “Up Next” column is determined by final design drawings, material availability, and construction difficulty. Also, an emergency crossover situation occurring at the Corsair Beach Park will be addressed as materials and labor availability allow.
There is no final completion date for the crossovers individually or collectively. Construction continues while final designs are being completed and all permits concluded for some of the crossovers.
As noted above, the construction schedule for the crossovers involves several issues including weather, tide schedule, and is based on the specifics of the crossovers, including construction, engineering designs, and the Department of Natural Resources permitting.
