The Code Revision Project seeks to revise the Jekyll Island Authority Code of Ordinances and Design Review Guidelines to provide an updated, organized, and concise Code that clearly details processes and procedures.
This project is being led by Goodwyn, Mills, Cawood, Inc. (GMC), alongside the Jekyll Island Authority, with anticipated completion in 2022.
The second reading of the Jekyll Island Code Revision Project is available below as approved by the JIA Board without further revisions. At this time, the appropriate annotation indexing and references for the final version are under development.
The public is always encouraged to provide a public comment directly to the Board during the public comment period at any Board meeting, as well as provide public comment online until Tuesday, May 31 at 12:00 p.m.

The public is also invited to participate in public meetings.
