*Hurricane Matthew Update: As you may know, Jekyll Island was recently struck by Hurricane Matthew. We are pleased to share that the 37-year tradition of the Georgia-Florida Golf Classic will continue this year, with only a few slight adjustments.

While the island did not sustain massive structural damage, we did lose many trees. Our crews have been working tirelessly to ready the courses, and we’re pleased to say they’re ready for play.

Thursday, October 27, registration check-in will now open at 11:00 a.m. at the Jekyll Island Golf Club Pro Shop. The tournament will officially start with its traditional shotgun start at 12:00 p.m., and lunch will be provided. Additionally, the putting contest, chipping contest, demo day, and tailgate party will begin immediately after play on Thursday.

The remainder of the tournament schedule remains unchanged. Practice rounds will still be available Wednesday, and Friday play will begin at 9:00 a.m. followed by awards and Casino Night at the Convention Center at 7:00 p.m.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to seeing you soon.
