Jekyll Island Independence Day Fireworks have been canceled.
For the safety of our visitors and following recommendations regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus) from the CDC, many spring and summer island events have been canceled.

There’s always something to celebrate.
Whether it’s taking part in our Fourth of July festivities, movie nights in Beach Village, or seeing more than half a million lights come alive across this island, you’ll love making our celebrations your new traditions. From the Turtle Crawl races to the iconic Shrimp & Grits Festival, our popular events keep our guests coming back year after year.
Be sure to check out our events calendar to see what’s happening next.
There are times when Jekyll Island is so quiet, you can almost hear your heart beating. But, throughout the year, we crank it up and throw some of the best parties you’ll find on the coast.
