Jekyll Island Skating Village
A new signature experience on the Georgia Coast, oceanfront “ice” skating comes to Jekyll Island. Located at North Dunes Park, this outdoor synthetic rink is open November through January. Skate rentals, concessions, and panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean are available at the Jekyll Island Skating Village.

Christmas Tree Lighting Festival

Golf Cart Parade
Saturday, November 28, 2015, 3 p.m. set-up, parade starts at 4 p.m.
Kick-off the day with a festive parade where the golf carts don their gay apparel and wear their tacky Christmas sweaters. Led by our celebrity grand marshals, Priscilla and Poppleton, the parade will start at 3 p.m., travel down Pier Road in the Historic District, and include a special appearance by Santa Claus. All participating golf carts should meet at 3 p.m. in the Georgia Sea Turtle Center Parking Lot on Stable Rd.
Cocoa Mug awards will be presented to the golf cart parade winners. Awards include most festive, most creative, and Santa’s Choice.
Visit with Santa

Santa Claus is coming to town! Visit Santa on the porch at Indian Mound Cottage on Riverview Drive in the Historic District. He’ll be accepting all good boys’ and girls’ Christmas wish lists.

The great tree – covered in 28,000 bulbs! – will be officially lit, accompanied by a fantastical fireworks and snow show.

Village Green in Beach Village
Two classic holiday movies under the stars: Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! and Ice Age: A Mammoth Christmas. Bring your blankets and chairs and we’ll supply the popcorn. This is a free event, and is open to the public.

Merry Artists’ Show & Sale
Come enjoy a festive show and sale of small works all priced under $150. From paintings to drawings, basketry and jewelry, find artwork suitable for holiday gifts or decorations. Located at Goodyear Cottage on Riverview Drive in the Historic District.
Join the Jekyll Island Arts Association for an artists’ reception featuring The Jekyll Singers. Receptions to be held November 28, 2015, 2-6 p.m. and December 13, 2015, 1-3 p.m.
