Enjoy the history of Jekyll Island enriched in seasonal splendor as you venture inside the cottages of Jekyll Island’s National Historic Landmark District. Tours are $16 for Adults, $7 for children ages 7-15 and free for children ages 6 and under.

Gypsea Glass Santa Saturday’s

Christmas Ornament Demonstrations: Watch hand blown glass ornaments being created in the torch flame and take one home with you! Two sessions each Saturday: 1:00pm – 2:00pm and 3:00pm – 4:00pm. Seating limited to 10 persons per session. Costs $20 per person – includes demonstration, holiday refreshments, and hand blown glass ornament. Reservations: 912-635-9797.

Advanced Members Exhibit at Goodyear Cottage Gallery

The talented hands that make up the Jekyll Island Arts Association will showcase their cream of the crop works, including painting, sculpting, woodworking and more. The gallery is open from noon to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and Sundays. Admission to the exhibit is free.

Christmas Cookie Workshop

Christmas Cookie Workshop

The Jekyll Island Club Hotel’s pastry team will be on-hand to help guests decorate Christmas cookies. Each guest receives one-dozen cookies. The workshop will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Morgan Center. Admission is $15 per cookie maker, and $5 for others. Visit jekyllclub.com for more information.

Christmas Bagpiper

Scottish bagpiper Tim Akins heralds the season was he walks around the hotel campus playing traditional holiday tunes and Scottish melodies. Akins will play from 4 to 4:50 p.m. throughout the Jekyll Island Club Hotel’s outdoor properties. Admission is free.


December 25

Christmas Brunch

The Jekyll Island Club Hotel will serve a brunch buffet filled with traditional and modern holiday cuisine. Brunch is served at 11 a.m., 12:45 p.m. and 2:30 pm. In the Grand Dining Room; and from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Crane Cottage. Meals are $42.95 for adults and $21.50 for children under 12 years-old. Reservations are required. Christmas Dinner

The Jekyll Island Club Hotel will serve a four-course holiday dinner in the Grand Dining Room and at Crane Cottage. Adult plates are $54.95 and $27.50 for children under 12 years-old. Seating will be held at 6 and 8:30 p.m. and reservations are required. Visit jekyllclub.com for more information.
