Where Can I Rent a GPS Unit?

GPS Units are no longer for rent by the Jekyll Island Authority.

If you have your own GPS unit, try renting a Red Bug electric car at the Jekyll Island airport! It's a great way to get around while geocaching.

In 1916 the Jekyll Island Club began renting to its members a small, two person, electric car for the purpose of touring the island and accessing the beach.

Red Bug Motors, at the Jekyll Island airport offers that same opportunity.

The Red Bug cars and a geocaching kit is a great combination. The little cars make an outing even more fun, and the GPS unit actually works in the car (it's a little tough to connect to the satellites in a regular car).
